Object Tracking Camera

rbh The Object Tracking Camera is an automated system that tracks objects using an Arduino, Pixy Camera, and two servo motors. The Pixy Camera uses color-based object recognition, allowing it to identify and follow objects based on their trained color signatures. In this project, the camera was trained to track a pink object, with servo motors controlling the camera's pan and tilt motion for real-time adjustments.

The Arduino processes data from the Pixy Camera and sends commands to the servo motors, ensuring smooth tracking of the object's position. The x-coordinate controls the pan motion, and the y-coordinate controls the tilt, keeping the object in view. A 7.4V LiPo battery powers the system, while a sturdy acrylic frame houses the components for secure operation.

This versatile setup can be used in various applications, including automated surveillance, sports photography, and dynamic videography. The system's ability to track objects in real-time makes it ideal for scenarios requiring constant monitoring or capturing fast-moving scenes without manual adjustments.
